FEBRUARY--FAMOUS LONG ISLANDERS
During the month of February, the Rocky Point FJC School is continuing its participation in PARP. This month the theme is: "Celebrating Famous Long Islanders."
Famous Long Islanders include Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid) and Alec Baldwin (Actor). Determination is the character trait for the month.
Determination is when you set a goal and do your best to achieve it. An example of determination is in the movie "The Karate Kid." Ralph Macchio is determined to win the contest and he does. Also the way Alec Baldwin has become a very well known and respected actor demonstrates determination.
